Piper has been the Superintendent of Van Dyke Public Schools since February, 2017. Prior to that, she served the district as a Principal, Turnaround Director, and Assistant Superintendent beginning in 2010. Ms. Bognar also served Taylor Public Schools as a teacher and administrator beginning in 1997. Piper is a proud graduate of Michigan State University, and also received her Masters in Education Administration from Wayne State University. She is a believer that high-quality education creates opportunity and should be accessible to all students regardless of what goes on in their lives outside the schoolhouse doors.
